3125: No Calls/SMS While Streaming Audio?

I just realized that my Cingular 3125 phone returns a "this user is not available" message when I am streaming Sirius thru Windows Media Player (Sirius WM5), and also blocks any SMS messages from coming in until I stop the stream.

Is this a known limitation or is there a workaround? Will using another streaming player fix this? I love streaming audio, but not at the expense of blocking calls. It worries me that if I'm browsing using Pocket IE or Opera, or even using IM+, will calls also be blocked by these apps? Or is it just the constant data stream of streaming audio that blocks calls and SMS?

Anyone have a workaround or is this just a problem with the Cingular network or this phone?
