I have an old car charger from my MPX-200. Can I use this charger with my TMOBILE DASH??? Should I be scared??? Different pinout? Or the Same? Thanks!

Your MPX charges when you plug it in to your USB, right?

Most of these smartphones use the USB current pins to charge themselves. In fact, I don't carry my SDA's charger when I travel, I just bring the USB sync cable, and charge off my laptop.

I'm not familiar with Moto's MPX, but I know that moto has been adopting the same USB standard as everyone else (RIM, HTC, etc...), therefore I would assume that all mini-usb chargers would work just fine.

MPX and dash use different chargers. The dash uses a standard miniusb style connector for its charger the mpx220 (and I think the 200) use the standard moto connector for their charging. Thats why they have special usb cables instead of standard ones.

funny, cuz last time I checked they didn't have "special" usb cables... I don't know where you're getting your info from.
Unless the RAZR and the MPX have different ports, Moto's usb is standard.

The mpx220 doesn't have a standard miniusb port. It requires a special moto brand usb cable. It also uses the old moto style charger (i.e. v series). Since the mpx200 predates the mpx220 by a year and the razr by 2 years (first moto I remember seeing that uses a standard miniusb connector) I assume it also isn't standard.
