It's a killer phone if you live in Europe, and a really great "almost there" phone if you're here in the states. Why SE didn't put a camera in -- or even put one on the w950i -- I don't know, except for the "businesspeople don't care about cameras" argument. Aside from that, it's a killer phone with a deceptively great form factor, beautiful UI, and great keypad (though some would argue that one). If M2 memory sticks come down in price, it's totally passable as a walkman phone/media player, as well. You should try to find one to check out UIQ 3. It's super nice. |

I think it probably misses the camera, but it's obviously designed for those that aren't going to miss a camera. Interestingly, the New Walkman version of this has just been released in the UK, which is the Sony Ericsson W950i. This is a great looking model with the inclusion of the Walkman Technology and a huge 4GB built in hard drive! The Walkman model looks set to also be very popular... |
