Finally the thread is made. I will put all the games that work on my d807. Plz feel free to post ur games here.

The steps to install a game are these one:
1) Get the .jar of the game
2) Now have to make the .jad so find a jad maker.
3) After u make the .jad transfer both to the micro sd.
4) Put the micro SD back on the phone.
5) Pass the files to the phone, so by default they are passed to the folder of other files.
6) Insert the code
*#9998*5282# then Put INSTALL MIDLET and enter 235282
7) Select the file and install it.
8) When u select it be sure to close the phone, but before be sure that u have the option of close operation when u close the phone.
9) Play the game.

Can someone tell me why I keep getting "Invalid Format" or something like that when I am trying to install the games??

I am using JAD Maker 1.15 to make the JADs but I get it almost everytime.

Sort of a Super Mario Bros rip off.. kinda tricky with the d-pad, but still pretty decent.. enjoy!

maybe they weren't made for the phone? nokia and sony games dont work i think

UMm that's weird. I can play this game every time without that error.
Well I have Xmen 3 and the first days I was playing normally but today I try to play it and I have the same problem.
That problem appeared to me with other games but not with super KO boxing.
I don't know exactly what causes the problem so I can't help u.
Try at least to defeat some boxers and save it. Maybe it will help.

And about the sound, not all games have sound. But that doesn't matter.

And about the jad maker I have the same jad maker for nokia and it works. So
the problem its the game not the jad maker. Not all the games are compatible with this phone. The ancient empires that i will post later is compatible with this phone. Maybe u download an ancient empires that is exclusive for other phone.

Thanks to K~DaWG for uploading his ancient empires II. it works fine but some of the controls are messed up as if it wasnt made for this phone(ex. when i push down on the d pad it moves to the right). didnt get a chance to test the level 4 freeze because i installed, played, uninstalled and reinstalled and got a format error. will try again.

Those keys not work on this game. Use the keypad instead, never use the directional.

You have to quit the game to go through the Options, About, or Help menus. The "next" or "back" buttons right above the soft keys can't be used, because the soft keys don't work. The directional buttons/keypad/etc. doesn't work in those menus either. But once you get through those, you can play the game fine.

Any one found Asphalt Urban GT 2? I had a version that played but couldn't use the soft keys so I deleted it. i did get derek jeter baseball, i'll see if i can find the jad and jar files and post them- but i did it a while ago so i may not be able to

Well about the playman games only three are compatible so far, the 2 volleyball ones and this one:

And about the midnight pool the one I have is not the best for this phone, is small resolution but playable. If u guys wanted it just ask for it, instead i will keep searching for the best one for this resolution.

Yeah I'm still looking for midnight pool too. The one I had worked fine, full resolution, but the dialog boxes for challenges and talking to other players were blank so you could never read what was going on and could not do the challenges.

i notice that the dialog boxes in midnight pool work in the java emulator on pc, but when i install it into d807, they disappear.

i have a feeling that the copies we have work fine, and its the d807 thats causing the dialog disappearance.

i deleted the .png in the compilation to reduce the size to 299 but it still would not work.

nice find on midnight pool, i wonder why it's doing that? (you can purchase the game from gameloft, so that file can't be broken...)

did you try making your own JAD file for rayman?

i use Midp2Exe from Kwyshell it works pretty good, but i dont think it plays 3d games.

as for rayman, yes ive tried making my own jad from jadmaker and still wont install like G@bo

It depends. Some Moto games work, some SE games work, some other Samsung models work. I test some out on an emulator or just load them to my phone and see if they work.

Well about compatibility I just look for 176 x 220 games.
Although I the K700 is very compatible in terms of games.

I need help with this if anyone wants to try and figure out what's wrong with it. Or maybe it's my phone? Install this game to your phone and let me know if you have any troubles navigating through the menu system. Sometimes none of the buttons work, other times I can scroll through it. The thing is, it works perfectly when plugged into the emulator.

The carbon is more than 300kb and I tested a lot of them and this one is not the exception. It doesnt work just like the tennis one 2.
If u could provide the exact link from where u download it I will appreciated.
This is supposed to be a thread of working d807 games and these ones are not working so there is something that is happening.

Yea it is weird. The NFS Carbon I didn't even realize was over 300KB. My mistake, I was lazy and only tested it on the emulator.

It must be my phone or something. Or the D807's are just weird in general. Because some of your files don't work on my phone, aren't fullscreen, your Playman file doesn't have full sound and messes up my entire phone's sound until i restart, etc. Others have said your files don't work either, but mine have worked fine on theirs. And vice versa. So who knows. I think I'll just keep most of the games I find to myself.

I had another version in my phone, it was working fine, but soft keys dont work... so i tried installing another version with working softkeys (this one), so i installed it over the old file. now i cant play it, it says error whenever i start the game.

can any of you guys try this one out? it works flawlessly on the emulator.

i cant find the old version i had... and i want it back

I bought a ZUNE and still using it.
I think there a lot more people that bought a Wii or a PS3 and left the thread out.

I will post more games soon.
And I will post the NES emulator too so if ayone knows how to put more games on it I will be apreciated because I dont know how.

Carbon doesn't work on this phone.
It was an error to be posted here.

Well here's the only emulator that works here.

thanks for vNES!!! it installed fine on my d807.

im having a bit of a problem tho. when i play the included game (ice climbers), im getting really low framerates (~23.2) the game still runs, but it runs so slowly that its not very playable

i was wondering if any of you guys are having the same problem

im about to try to add a rom into the emulator wish me luck lol

Does anyone have lumines mobile for the D807? I found couple of .jars, but all of them are too big, as in they dont fit the screen. And some of them keep coming up with error messages. Also, could someone upload or reupload the Sims 2? Ive tried everysingle download, and all of them dont work for the D807.

OK, thanks.... but it looks like you might be able to transfer files from the memory card to the file manager. Maybe not. Anyway do you know if we can use games that work with A920? I downloaded a pack of games for the Samsung A920 and i'm wondering if they will work or if my phone will blow up.

yea... i really want FIFA 07. ive been looking most of hem are too big. i found a jar with 318kb, edited it to 300 so it would work on d807. it said "Java Error. Invalid Format."

Thanks, thats games pretty sweet and the graphics look great for the D807. Has anyone managed to get lumines though? It seems like a pretty tough game to find. I do have some games that iu've seen listed as working with the D807 but only the JAR file. I tried creating a JAD file and after attempting to instal I got an ERROR on the phone.... Maybe i'm not making the JAD file properly. I was using Jad Maker..but the site i got it from says its for Nokia phones...anyone know what I should really be using?

I was just wondering if anyone knew of a MP3 Java app that would work for the D807. The MP3 player on the phone isn't great and it only supports a limited amount of songs on the play list.

OK so i went on wikipedia, and figured out how to install the games, but after my phone freezes when i try to install the game, it gives me an error message that it is a bad java file or something. what am i doing wrong?

You need to have your slide setting set to cancel, and when it freezes slide your phone down and click install. If you have done this and it gives you an error meesage, then yes it is a bad java file.

Here's a good game to work out your brain while traveling. I know someone requested brain challenge.. I haven't found a good full working version yet. The only one i have takes up about 2/3 of the screen and the text is too small to read.

Yeah, you are a bit late. They were working about a week ago when I downloaded some games for my phone. Rogepost probally just took the link down, but there are many other sites where you can get some games.

if you keep getting that,
-check to make sure the files you put on your phone end in .jar and .jad
-make sure they're smaller than 300 kb

and what games have you tried?, so i can try them on my phone to see if it's your phone messing up, or just faulty games

not really understanding what your saying....
rogepost is a file hosting...if you click on the link, it will allow you to download the file that was uploaded (which should be the jar / jad file)

just click on the rogepost link, and there should be another link that allows you to dl it...

42 games in the zip file....(including the jad file)

all have been tested and working....if they don't then make your own jad file (usually works for me)

Anyone else having the error msg after the game is all installed and such?? So far Medieval, Might and Magic, and Midnight bowling and Midnight Hold em are doing this to me and it kinda sucks since those are the games i wanted the most. Also is there a worms like game that works on this phone??

Monopoly worked for me -- i dont have the jars or jads nemore though.

None of the downloaded midnight series work for me except for bowling and pool.
But Bowling has either a tiny screen size or one that is too large to see everything. Pool is missing the text when they do the challenges.

actually...the pool....i found out that the text is like...color yellow....if you tilt your screen....you could see like a lil bit of the writing...if you have good eyes i guess you could read it...

and for bowling...that's for another phone..that's why the screen is to big

I have transfered files to my MicroSD card, Both .jar and .jad files. When I try to open them i get a an error message saying "Not Allowed". What do I do next? How come it doesnt ask me for a code like you say it should?

once you transfer the files from the micro sd card to your phone, you have to type in *#9998*5282#, as if you are dialing a phone number

then you will get a screen with three options, go to the last one (install MIDlet), and it will give you a prompt for a password. That password is 235282. Then, it will lead to the other files part of your phone. Choose the .jad file, and click install, then close your phone, press yes, and it will say "please wait, installing". then, your game should be in.

Thanks for the uploads guys!

A quick tip for those installing games.

Normally you select the JAR file you want to install, it then seems like it freezes, then you close your phone and it'll ask you if you want to install the game. Then you have to enter the code and then password all over again for the next game.

However, instead of closing the phone, you can do one of two things:
1) call your phone and reject the call
2) attempt to connect a bluetooth device and deny it

The phone will then ask you if you want to install the game like normal, but instead of canceling the Java install menu as the "normal" slide down phone method does, it'll bring you back to the JAD/JAR selection screen so you can choose a next game to install.

Now you can install many games without having to re-enter that lengthy code/password for each one!

P.S. This thread is for D807 games, but a lot of them don't work or are the wrong resolution. Why is that?

Some games I haven't seen (or have seen but don't work) for the D807.
1) Doom RPG
2) Midnight Poker
3) Might & Magic 2
4) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (English)

Anyone have any of those games for the D807 that actually work?

OK dudes!!! seems like you know what you guys are doing... I got the d807 unlocked and on fido. I DL the the files to my laptop then send them to the phone and place them on the phone. I go to install most install fine. But then my phone says they are trying to connect to the internet. Heres my problem i dont have my phone set up to for net on my fido network. Also no one know how to to it.

i'm not too sure how to select it though? like when i go to other files i see the jar and jad files but i can't actually "select" anything. i just notice the "options" and "back" on the shortcuts. there is nothing in the options to choose to select either, its just like send, delete, rename, move, copy, share, protection and properties

alright, so you say you got your files on your phone in the
"other files" section? well, once you got them there, type in the passwords (on the normal screen, as if you are dialing a phone number, type in *#9998*5282#).

Then, youll get a screen that has 3 options, 1) library info, 2) Native info, and 3) Install midlet. Choose Install midlet and type in the password 235282. you will get to a screen that shows you the "other files". If the .jad file has a green box, you can choose it by pressing the middle button on the phone.

Youre phone should freeze up. once it does, close it, and it will prompt you if you want to install the game (and it might show you a warning, just press ok) press the install button, and the game will begin installing. there you go, the game should be in.

OK i know this is a really old thread, but for anyone wondering, i was having all kinds of issues installing Java games on my 807x they kept saying wrong format. But i found out it was the filename that was messing it up, if its too long you won't be able to install it. I have found if its about 10 chars then it will install, so make sure file size is less then 300k and make sure that the name isn't too long and it should install fine.
