Slvr L7 Can't Personalise!!! Please Help!!!

Hey all, so this is what happened:

I got a brand new SLVR (RED) from the UK. I did the basic seem edits (0032_0001, 005b_0001, 004a_0001, 004e_0001, 0126_0001) and then added some games onto my microSD. (Seem edits done with P2kMan and Hex Editor, added games with Moto MidMan) Then I went to add some skins to my phone using SkiMan. As I was loading on the first skin I exited that little star daemon icon in the system tray for P2kComm that kept telling me the phone was in p2k mode. When I did that Skiman froze and now I CAN'T ACCESS THE PERSONALISE MENU!! It just says "please wait"... I've even left it overnight!! I read on Motomodders.net that you can uncheck "Other Features> Office Tools> Quick Menu" in P2k Tools (v0.8.6) but when I looked at that the file was already unchecked!!

PLEASE HELP ME!! HOW CAN I ACCESS THE PERSONALISE MENU AND ADD SKINS TO MY SLVR (RED)?!?!?

I would load up the default seems and start from scratch again. I hope you saved em. The only time I had this problem in my L7 is when I incorrectly loaded up seem file.

sometimes doing a master reset/master clear will fix it, but some of your seem edits may be reset when you do this not to mention files you have may be erased too. as long as u backed up ur stuff, try it out

Well I managed fixing it by checking some other posts on this website:

IN p2kTOOLS 0.8.6:
UNCHECK: Other features> Office Tools> ALL (nothing is checked)
: Other features> Multimedia> Themes, Show Progress
CHECK: Other features> Other> Settings> Initial setup> Vice Sync, Animation

and that fixed the problem too.

I do believe it was a seem edit issue though because I edited my friend's new phone too (we both got the same phone) and hers couldn't personalise after seem editing only. Do we know WHICH seem edit could be causing this lock??
