i have MPT, and its worked great up until this now. For some reason, i cant pull vids or pics off my phone to transfer them to my pc. Divice manager shows that the kyocera driver is not working properly. i have searched and searched, and cannot find the driver.
someone please help me !!

i have also tried to connect via bluetooth, but mpt does not detect my phone.

my device manager shows deiver for com port 10 is not working properly. I clicked on update driver, but driver was not found. where i can i find this ?

try the disc they gave in the box for the phone

it didnt work bro. still a conflicting device.

it appears that the file i need is kwusb2k.sys
in the c:\program files\ kyocera wireless corp\usb drivers

can you send me that file ?

also...not sure if it matters, but when i open MPT, the phone shows the provider as verizon. should it read alltel since my service is with alltel ?

have u tried not using mpt to transfer files and just opening it from my computer and then moving files ? becuz i dont use mpt to take off videos and pics or put on

ive tried that, but when i open the folders they are all empty.

only the mp3s are visible.

im just taking the memory card out of the phone, and sticking it in my computer and opening the drive. Is there something else i should be doing ?

you must be doing something wrong because its easy to do

all I do is plug my phone in and just enable it.......and there is everything

hmm ur saving the same vid and pic extensions as they were on phone ? and the only way to make sure of that is to make the file extensions visible

I have a kx5 that has a crash dump error. Can it be reflashed to fix it? What drivers do i need for it.

if its crashing just try taking it to ur provider and seeing if they will fix it

No its crashed with the display saying crash dump. It will not restart up or anything. Is there another way to acess a hard reset.

i just spoke to a kyocera tech and he said that most likely it needs to be re-programed. I would like to do this myself. Any idea what programs are compatible with kyocera kx5? I'd also unlock it if possible.
