8125 Screen Appears To Be Messed Up

Ok, so I'm at a party, I have my 8125 in my front pocket of my hoody (yeah I know, bad move), but it falls out and lands on the ground. I pick it up, turn the phone back on, and the screen is all distorted. Like you can tell the processor is fine because everything is loading and you can kind of make out some things, but it's just all scrambled for the most part. I can still receive and answer calls tho, and if I touch the upper left hand corner of the screen for example, it still makes that "click" sound like the menu is being pulled down, but the screen is scrambled so I don't know what's goin on with it. Does anyone know of a way to fix this (I tried taking the battery out and putting it back in but I get the same result)

If it comes down to I'm going to have to buy a new phone, I'm not elegible for an upgrade, so does anyone have a specific link or a specific way for me to go about it so I don't have to pay the full amount again? Thanks everyone!

Dang, $125 though, huh? I guess that's cheaper than having to buy a whole new 8125, but does anyone know of any place I could get a lcd replacement cheaper? Also, I noticed in reading that ebay auction that it says it should be installed by a professional technician, etc, etc.......Can you guys confirm this? Do I need to take it into a Cingular store to get it installed, or am I going to have to send it off or what?

It would be on you to find someone to install it. Cingular does NOT have on-site repair.

Is there a tutorial anywhere or a step by step or something that I might be able to get? Is it really that hard to install or shoud I really leave it to a professional?
