Can the X50V, or any other touch screen palm, of a similar decent size, connect to the internet via bluetooth to a Verizon phone. The setup that I would like, is to be able to keep my cellphone in my pocket as I do now, and make/receive phone calls on a bluetooth headset. But I would also like to browse the internet with something larger, like a palm that has a touch screen, because there is just so much on the net that needs that capability, and using buttons to move a cursor around, is total insanity. You hookup with one provider, and you get better phones, but not so good coverage area, or you hook up with the one who has the best coverage and you get horrible phones because half of the features are turned off, to stop you from getting what you want. Many features you can't even pay to get, unless you have palms and phone service from 20 different providers. These darn phone companies all fight each other and none really gives you all that you should be able to have.
I read a few messages here where people have claimed to be able to hack Verizon phones so that the V50 series can connect to web sites, send text messages from the palm, send/recieve email, etc. But when you ask them how, they tell you that they were not actually able to do it Personally, I don't care if I use these palms or another as long as I can do what I would like to do, without carrying a full laptop around with me.
