My 3125 says "Searching" when it normally says "Cingular"

I know I'm in a excellent converage area and I use the phone where I'm at all the time. I just started doing this just a minute ago! I've restarted the phone and I've even taken out the sim card along with the battery but it still says "Searching..."

How long has it been doing it? Windows Mobile phones have a bad habit of taking a while to pick up a signal. My 3125 has been good so far but it's likely if you haven't waited long enough it's actually really still searching.
If you've waited forever and it's still searching usually a reboot will solve that but if that doesn't then it's more than likely a SIM card issue. Try a different SIM card if possible (a friends)
