Newbie here. I would like to be able to unlock the full potitial of my new phone, unlock it for one and other things. I Have Motorola phone tools. I have unlocked some phones in the past. Give me some ideas of some cool things that I can do with the phone. One thing for sure I would like to do is get rid of the Cingular logo....

So new you can't read the rules? Requesting how to unlock is verboten. There are unlocking services available (some advertize here), or you can actually call Cingular, tell them you're travelling abroad and they should send you the code, assuming you've been a customer long enough (or so I've read).

Searching here is your best bet - just about every hack has been performed on this phone and there are existing threads on how to accomplish these hacks.

I didn't intend for anyone here to unlock it for me. Sorry for the confusion. Just tell me where to go and have it done. I will check with cingular. But last time I ask they said. NO. I have been a customer for many years. I would just like to know some cool things that I can do with the phone and needed some ideas what's out there without having to spend hours of google searching, Thanks I will start here..
