Is there a way to get the volume sound to stay silent when turning down the volume? At school it gets annoying turning down the volume and everyone can the volume going down, I read somewhere you can edit the gain table but thats in p2ktools and it doesnt work with the v3c.

Who's your service provider? My phone only makes sound when raising the volume. I also have a v3c.

My Alltel-flashed (Moto UI) V3m also only makes the sound when turning the volume up. Are you on Verizon with their firmware? Have you done the seem edits for the Moto UI ring styles and volume control? I only had my Razr for a few hours before doing those seem edits, so I don't remember if the default Verizon UI volume control makes sound when turning the volume down or not. I also forget if the Moto UI-style volume control on Verizon's firmware makes sound when turning the volume down, but I would assume not since it's the same volume control used by the actual Moto UI.

So, if you haven't already, try the seem edits for Moto UI-style ring styles and volume control (make sure to do them both) and see if that works.

mine makes the noise if i have speakerphone on.
