Pebl File Transfers

I have a Motorola Pebl U6. After some doing I got the phone tools installed. It keeps asking for the modem driver. Anyway, I cannot seem to transfer files to my phone via usb. I have after openning phone tools multimedia studio and going into file tansfer it hans for a minute or two. If I try to transfer any files it says processing failed. I updated to the latest software to no avail. Any help greatly appreciated.
