Ok seriously im not retarded. When i first got the Dash i set the alarm to wake me up at 8am. It went off next morning, turn off the alarm, wouldn't give it a second thought. Next day i dont set the alarm.. IT STILL GOES OFF. Whether i set it or not it goes off. I live in AZ where we don't adjust our clocks for daylight savings so now it goes off at 7am every damn day. If i set the alarm for 8am, it goes off at 7 and at 8.

The phone did lockup on me once and i had to pull out the battery to turn it off... i figure thats where i f'ed things up.

Any thoughts? Is there just some ini or xml file i can edit to fix this?

Same problem seems to occur w/ the 3125, it may be related to some common problem w/ some recent HTC logic in the ROMs. There are a couple solutions that 3125 owners have found, I don't have the links to both handy, but if you search the smartphone forum on '3125 alarm', you'll find them.

For me, on my 3125, what worked was to do the following...

Start, Settings, Clock and Alarms, Alarm, change the time, make sure the alarm is ON...press Done until you are back at the home screen.

Start, Settings, Clock and Alarms, Alarm, change the alarm to OFF...press Done until you are back at the home screen.

This seems to reset it for me, and it didn't keep going off. There is something w/ the 3125 and dismissing the alarm w/ the external screen buttons...why the DASH would be doing it, I have no idea, but worth a shot to try and reset it. Maybe HTC goofed in the code they put under the dismiss soft-key on the Dash when an alarm goes off. Some people have reported that on the 3125, the external button seems to put the alarm into a 24 hour sleep mode and if you open the 3125 and cancel the alarm from there, it stops the repeating thing. I haven't tried this yet, I have a third-party alarm app that doesn't use the stock WM5 alarm stuff.

I have the same problem with my Alarm. I brought it back to T-mobile today and got a replacement. I am now using a downloaded App instead of the phones alarm clock.

Which downloaded alarm clock app are you using?

Ok I think I got it.
What I did is set my alarm for the time it kept going off, which was 7am, then in the morning when it went off I dismissed it and then turn it off.

This morning I don’t think it went off, unless I subconsciously turned it off which would be an extreme fluke for me. Ill post again if I’ve actually fixed it… for those this may concern

lol...

My alarm went off this morning like normal and I turned it off.
But the thing kept going off every few minutes like it was on SNOOZE or something. Finally had to take the battery out to shut the thing up

mine does the same thing and i even changed the time on the alarm from 5am to 6am and my alarm goes off at 5 and at 6. and i have tried to turn off the alarm and it still goes off.
