Greetings,

I've loved mobile gaming ever since I discovered it on my old Motorola v300. Since then, I have spent alot of time (and some money) to amass my game collection. One of the first places that provided me with quality games for my new k800i was this site, specifically through the generosity of people like makemedie and mephisto2k (to name a couple). So in the spirit of sharing and to give something back to this community here are some of the best games that I have on my Mobile at the moment. There are some very rare ones in here, (Spelltris, Midnight Casino, Streetfighter, Bomberman Pinball) all fullscreen, 15x15-18x18 size icons with cleaned up names to make sure they look uniform on a phone.

Google maps is a great free app available directly from google. It's basically a scaled down version of Google Earth. You can search for places and bring them up in map or satellite view among other things. The maps are streamed from the internet so if you don't have an unlimited data plan be very very careful or you could end up with a huge bill. The nice thing about the K800i (and other phones probably) is that it will ALWAYS ask you if you want to connect to the internet so you should never incur any charges unless you consent to them.

By the way no one has mentioned it but some (3 or 4) of the games in my pack are not fullscreen : ( . I have about 6000 jars and many of them are duplicates or different versions of the same app/game so it's easy to make a few mistakes. However thank you for the positive feedback : ) I will take requests now as long as it doesn't get too out of hand.

You put it in the "Other" folder on your phone or memory card. Then you just access the jar file from the phone and it will install automatically.

Great initiative man! I already got a lot of apps and games, thanks to the guys on this board. I'm still looking for an app called MobiWord from UNTEH. I have a modified version from some russian guy and ik works on 320X240 but it's not designed for it. Do you have it for K800 / W850 / W900? That's it. Thanks for your effort.

Thanks for the kind words. I have 3 versions of this app kicking around. 1 is most likely the "russian guy" version you have that's branded as "Microsoft Word" and I also have 2 UNTEH branded ones, 1.15 and 1.60. After I played with them for a bit they all seem to have pretty much same features and layout but all of the filesizes do differ. Here is what I assume to be the most recent version.

Thanks for the apps! this is the first time i've installed apps on my k800 and it works great! Especially the MobyExplorer! I think this program would help those that want to hide certain pictures that you dont want other people (gf) to see.

Hmm the ones that I have posted are the ones that I actually use. But I'll see what I can do...

I recently purchased a cheap bluetooth gps receiver and I've been using a program called Nav4all with it. What it does is help me plan routes to certain places and shows me EXACTLY where I am on a map at any given time. Kind of like a mini version of TOM TOM, just not as good. It's a bit confusing to use at first but it's free until 2008 and helps me navigate around London just fine.

Also a new beta version of Opera Mini has come out. It's not a massive upgrade but this is by far one of my most used apps as it displays webpages as if they were being shown on a computer and not a phone. The built in browser sends a bit of code out to tell the website that you are visiting that you are on a phone so what you are seeing is typically a modified or sometimes stripped down version of that site. Opera Mini doesn't do that.

I've tried alot of different mobile MSN Messenger apps trying to find the perfect one. Unfortunately, I still haven't found it yet. But in the meantime I am more than happy to use Mig33. I love the speed, I love the interface, it's the best I've found so far. Here is a slightly modified version of the app. Nothing major, but it's the one I use now.

Mobizines, kind of like mini magazines. Nothing special really but still, it's just another thing to distract yourself with on the tube.

I also just recently got a bluetooth usb adapter for my pc and I've been messing with this app. It allows you to use your K800i as a remote control for your computer. But more than that it lets you browse the contents of your hard drive among other things! It's a little tricky to get it to work since you need a working bluetooth stack, the program and a special jar file on your phone. But it's neat.

As you can see, the K800i can be far more than just a phone if you explore it's potential. Even though it doesn't have a Symbian operating system there are still some very neat (and practical) things that you can do with it. This is just a sample, I'm considering writing a full guide in the future.

By the way all of the Apps above except the Bluetooth Remote use data, so please be careful if you don't have an unlimited data plan!

@phase: I don't know what you're looking for man. I got my W850i last week and I LOVE that thing man! All the games and apps I got through this site and P2P. I'll have to test a lot of apps to see what they're worth.

Word Clock, Pullface, Converter, Moby Explorer and the Factbook do not use any data. World Mate uses a TINY amount. Mig33 is light on data as well. Google Maps or any mapping program will always use a TON unless the maps are built in.

The K800i or any phone without an "operating system" for that matter will always be somewhat limited in terms of applications. The j2me language just isn't robust enough to create amazing and sophisticated apps. But personally I'm impressed with what we are able to get and thankfully new ones are always being developed.

Unfortunately it really is a matter or quantity over quality at this point and you have look pretty hard to find anything that you will want to use on a regular basis. Still, probably the best place to start looking would be www.getjar.com. Let us know if you find anything worth sharing

Well... Since noone is really requesting and I can make another one, let's try this one. I read about a game/application called Secrets of Hold'em with Howard Lederer. I have searched about everywhere and I can't find it. Can you peek into your collection to see if you got this one getting buried under dust?

I'm gonna play the new Rayman now because it rocks!

Sorry I haven't found a trace of that game, not even an info page on it. If you like hold'em I have several different versions though. Otherwise, sorry, I'll keep my eyes out for it though.

I got Midnight Poker which I really like but I stumbled on this app because I was looking for a training tool that will help you with odds and outs and more of such things. But I'll just keep looking around... it has to be somewhere! Oh wait... Maybe the WSOP Player Advisor? I think I got the 176x220 version of it.

BTW what a bizar number of apps/games you got man!

Yes I myself am waiting to Monopoly here and now. If I find it I will certainly share it.

I've found, surprisingly, many cricket games for various SE phones but nothing that is 320x240 sorry

As far as Skyforce is concerned it is not a SE game, all the versions I could find were in SIS format and the site says N70 compatible so I'm assuming symbian only.

As for tennis I don't have a s700 but I do have a k800 and it comes with "Tennis Multiplay. Now thats an okay tennis game but in my humble opinion Tennis Open 2007 is the best there is at the moment. I think Gameloft finally nailed a decent control scheme. It's widely available but I can post it if you like.

And Amici please feel free to fill any requests that people may have but please do not post random games here, just so I can keep track of things

Good catch there, I just tested it myself and got the same thing. But the original archive on my computer works fine so it mustve been some upload error. Reupping right now.

Virtua Tennis 3D in my opinion is the best tennis game for mobiles, but I've only ever found the 176x220 (k750i) version, and it's too small to see the ball properly when playing on a 240x320 screen.

Diezel I think you are on to something here that I wasn't aware of. I just reflashed my phone today (got the dreaded operation failed) so I reinstalled my apps. I got the latest google maps jar, installed it but it wouldn't work for some reason. It kept failing at the license screen. So instead I actually went to the site on my phone and installed via the jad and viola, it worked. I always thought the jads were useless but I guess they might not be. They must contain some code other than the location of the jar that can actually affect the app once it's installed. I'll have to do some more expirements later I guess. Anyway I'll just give you a couple of links here and maybe you can figure this out, I don't have much time at the moment

its like the multiplayer tennis game that comes preinstall on the k800 it will only work if both the jar and jad file are install lol so heres the matching jad and jar file for Google Maps

sorry about the crap hosting site but i dont have use of a PC and used the Opera Mini Mod to download the files and its the best hosting site i can upload via my phone lol but iv tested it and its working you simply place both files in the same folder or sub folder on your phone and click install on the JAD file and it installs both and runs without any probs

Well that solves one mystery for me. I always wondered why one app allows you to assign it read/write permissions and another won't. As Diezil has figured out, it's all in the Jad! This is great news as it finally means the end of having to go through security prompts everytime I access a file or folder in Moby Explorer or Pullface! Moby Explorer I got figured out as I managed to find a jad and registration key for it, but I won't be posting it as it does not belong to me

But I'll have to see what can be done about Pullface. I've done a bit of research and it seems that you can actually create signed Jad's for apps using some software and a certificate. I'll have to look into it more though, it doesn't help that most of the information on this stuff is in Russian. Ah well I'll post if I figure anything out. Thanks for the Google Maps file Diezil, it downloaded as a zip and not a php, so no issues there. If anyone needs to install Google Maps but cannot download it directly from Google (it is freeware) then use the file Diezil posted and follow the instructions.

Mate if you look at my sig its my WAP not web site so you may need a wap emulator for a PC but theres the signed HP Print, Face Warp and MobyExplorer with a reg key but the certificate runs out in march for MobyExplorer

and also do you have Photo Mate that comes installed on the k800 as i accidently deleted mine or do you know where i could get it but there a few versions going around but none of them the official k800 version which im after i looked at SE website and its not there and nobody knows where to get it from if anyone has it id very greatfull

Yes that's where I got the Moby Explorer thankyou. And I've made my browser handle wapsites natively via a Firefox extension so no issues there. I'll be on the lookout for that app and I'll let you know if I find anything.

Hi have got a little helpfull tip for you i was to looking for photo mate for the k800 for about a month to no avail as i accidently deleted it but i took my phone to get sorted out yesturday and had it debranded and flashed with R1ED001 firmware and guess what you get all standard Games and Apps back thats photo mate, HP Print, Face Warp (though i can supply you v1.4 signed for free

but the k800 comes with v1.44), Tennis Multiplayer Photo Quest, Fishing and Mini Golf Castles but understand flashing is different from updating via the sonyericsson website and is a little risky thats why i took mine to a shop to get done and it cost me 15 UK pounds but now my phone runs alot smoother and i got Photo Mate back so if you do this to get the Games and Apps back i would strongly surgest getting it done properly just in case something does go wrong hope this info helps mate

Alright to those of you that are pming me saying the links to the original packs are dead. Please read the thread, somewhere around the middle you will find a link that does work as I just tested it 20 seconds ago, it is not out of bandwidth. I cannot email the packs to anyone as that would take way too much time. Most of my stuff now can be found at http://diezil.wen.ru/ so you can always go there for anything you need.

Everyone knows what Face Warp is by now so i dont think there any real point in explaining lol
This version is the very same one that comes preinstalled on the K800i but i dont exactly know whats different from v1.4 probably just a few tweeks here and there
To avoid read write prompts install via the jad file (note changing the name of the jar or jad file before installation VOIDS the certificate for some reason) i know the name says w850 but also runs perfect on my w800 meaning 176x220 and 240x320 screen sizes

hi, i'm a newbee to these sites so i may seem a little slow. i hav recently bought a 2gb card for my k800 so am looking for exploding my phone open with new games and gadgets. i've downloaded the two game files and app file, changed them to jar files (i think i needed to) then transfered them to the phone. when i try to install them, they all say operation failed.

can someone please help as these all look ace and i cannot wait to try these out, especially since i'll be in hospital over next two days, they will keep me entertained

Welcome, and give me that 2 gb card, I want it, NOW

First off I'm very impressed that you managed to find the working links to these files as I get 5-10 PM's a week telling me my links are broken, when I know they aren't and those people just aren't looking hard enough. So kudos!

Second of all, those files you downloaded are ZIP files, which are compressed archives. What you need to do is use a program like WINRAR or WINZIP to extract the jars (and there are many of them) from within these ZIP files. Once that is done you can transfer them to your phone and they will install. So right now change the extension of the 3 files you downloaded back to .zip. Hope that helps

Oh and just a note a few (2 or 3) of the games in this collection are not 320X240, I guess I just wasn't paying attention lol. I'm not supporting this collection anymore though. So if you want the latest and greatest for your K800i come join the "I (se) Softwares" Forum at http://se.b3rx.com/forums/ it is still very new and growing but at this point we have over 130 320x240 games and a ton of apps that are perfectly organized with private links that do not expire. I do all of my uploading there now. So come check it out if you like. And if you need any further assistance you can PM me on that site or this one.

hey diezil can u send me the bluejacking/bluesnarfing jar for the k800i? i fixed my k800i problem (the multiple copies of games). I cant find a proper store in australia to flash my k800i so i think i will just leave it for now. only 10 games installed at a time lol! my email is danieldevita@hotmail.com. I hope it works from a K800i to a LG 8630 or wateva it is (silver/green flipfone sorta new). Is flashing the K800i worth it?

I have flashed my K800i about 3 times now because my Apps and Games folders kept getting corrupted to the point where I could no longer access either folder. I've always used WOTAN and never had any issues. I guess it depends on whether there is something you are trying to FIX or if your phone had certain features or menus locked by the provider, which was the original reason I flashed mine. If your phone was bought debranded then there might not be a good enough reason to flash, if it is branded then I would highly recommended it.

If you are going to flash I recommend R1EG001 CID49 as it SEEMS to be the one getting the best reviews but there were a few released after it. However I would not recommend going to the newest one because CID49 has finally been cracked and now that SE has realized this they've started using CID51 for all of their new firmwares and once you update to that there is NO going back. The cracking of CID49 has now enabled people to FULLY customize their K800i's with brand new menu systems with custom icons and shortcuts among other things and even flash their K800i's for FREE. Heck you might even see the operating systems of the new yet to be released phones being ported back to the K800i sometime in the future. So if this is something you might be thinking of exploring DO NOT UPGRADE TO CID51.

unfortunatly i dont have any apps apart from the ones on my site mate, All my k8s are terminaly ill they'v been to the repair centre and there aint anything that can be done to save them a 300 pound flash box couldnt even read them, maybe thats why wotan didnt work lol anyone know if my java collection from the k8s thats on my site will work on a w950 as i plan on getting one soon well i hope to anyway lol

Sorry for giving you the wrong information but I just confirmed it myself. If you change the extension to .rar and open the file in something like WINRAR your mind should be put at ease. You can ignore the unusable warning, that's something windows always says when you change a file extension. I still encourage you to join our forum though

My games folder is always with no more than 10 games and no applications but Opera are installed.

just stick wif 10 games and low amounts of apps and u'll be fine... install too many games n apps, ur k790 or k800 is dead.

i havent flashed my k800i either, i had about 300 games and apps, ALL on the memory card... thats wat stuffed me up. max 50 on just the memory card to keep everything working normally. maybe ur k800i is a different flashed model, most old k800i's do have a problem with games and apps.

Unfortunalty iv had to stop all the heavy duty work on my site, as uploading all those games completely killed 4 k800i's and now im just down to my w800i so im mainly just tweeking the layout of the site now, as i dont own a computer and completely built the whole site from scratch with k8's, if i do start work again ill keep it in mind and put the links in a different colour, but thats if work start again as im down to just my w800i now

Hi there.

I am trying to get the converter app working but when I run it, it is showing a language selection screen but there are no languages to select, the list is empty.

Browsing on google says you need the .jad file but I cannot find this anywhere. Has anyone got the .jad file or is there a way to get it working without it?

turns out there was one vital thing i forgot to add to the site a disclaimer page saying that all the files were for my own personal use and because i never had the disclaimer it made it made the site illegal hense its been shut down and dont exist anymore lol

You have accidently unpacked the "jar" file (thats the file that contains all those .class files, its kinda like a rar file just different lol), what you need to do is take the jar file and place it into the others folder on your phone and click install.
