Hey,
I'm heading out for a semester abroad in Feb. I'll be there for about 6 months so I need to get a phone for use while I'm there. I'm going to be in the Sydney area if anyone could recommend a good carrier and phone to look into.

You'll get better value with a smaller player like EasyMobiles. They offer plans that bill by the second and have several without contracts so it would be ideal. Their site is www.easymobiles.com.au if you want to look at them yourself.
