MOTOROLA Q - WIFI How to Enable?

I have a Motorola Q on the Bell Network. I bought a SDIO WIFI mini SD card so that I could use the unit WIFI. I learned from Motorola that the unit has a block in the Windows Mobile Software that won't allow it to install the software needed so enable the wifi connection.
Does anyone know of any hacks so that I can make it Wifi? I don't even want to use it as a Cell Phone, i'm happy with my Blackberry. I'd even be willing Clear the software and install a better windows mobile platform that would be allowed to make it a wifi unit.
Anyways if anyone knows of any patches or anything i'd greatly appreciate it~ Otherwise this unit going in the garbage.
