i880 lighting issues

hey

I was screwing around with the sdk for the i880 trying to get the lighting working in a java program with no success.

It seems that the:

Lighting.javaOverrideLighting(); is disabled.

in the emulator the commands

Lighting.javaOverrideLighting(true);
Lighting.setLighting(Lighting.LIGHT_STATUS,STATUS_ LIGHT_OFF);

causes a red,green,and blue light to turn off. but when on the phone nothing happens...the lights stay on. this same problem happens while trying to change the display lights and the keypad backlights...the emulator says that it shuts off the lights (including the PTT light) but when on the phone it doesn't respond.

Is it possible that the Lighting.javaOverrideLighting(); is disabled in the codeplug or something?

P.S all the other stuff I tried on the phone works (vibrator..etc) its just seems to be the lighting that is unresponsive.
