v3m and mpt

quick question... I have had the v3c for a couple of weeks and now the v3m is coming out for us cellular, so I am going to take advantage of the 30 day guarentee. I am just doing this for the extra space with removable sd card and they will be the same price. I want to know if mpt will work with the v3m without having to do seem edits or anything like that. It was very easy to get the v3c for uscc working, so i was hoping it would be the same plug and play for the uscc v3m. Please let me know if anyone knows or has experience. Thanks.

I bought the Project RED V3m and it synced perfectly with MPT. No seem edits.
