Anyway, I'm assuming the problem you're getting is the black screen while on a call, inability to get into a lot of the settings menus, etc.? If so, that's because you don't have the Verizon firmware skins. (You'll notice that every place you have a problem is where the Verizon UI's BREW shell dips into the native Moto UI disguised with a red-bars skin.) Find a copy of the Verizon V3c filesystem (DarkLodge has one I believe), and use P2KCommander to load Default, Blue, Business, and Tropical under a/mobile/skins. (Make a directory with the name of the skin, and then put all the skin's files in that directory.) That should fix it for you. |

and installed it. i noticed the phone numbers are still there, but i can't go into menus and stuff like that. I know u'll ask me why I want verizon firmware on it, so i'll tell you now. I like the phonebook wayyy better, and you can make folders in them instead of having to browse through a certain name for his email address, home number, work number and stuff like that on alltel, and also i like the calculator better. ok back to sub.. i did the reflash, and it works to some extent, but to most not, is there anything else i need to do, like maybe a flex edit or i dunno what else, please advise as soon as possible. i need this phone. |
