filez would be easier than trying to sync.
But I think u can u have to find the backup data in the palm desktop program file. Then click on the app/pdb or whatever that was on your SD to open it and have it then be installed to your internal rom. Then you can delete it out of your sd and backup folder. or use a card reader and transfer the prc to the quick install.
From your sd card to internal ram use the File program that came on your CD, it is free bonus software.
File or filez is the easiest way to move something from sd card to internal rom.

If you're trying to back up the files on the SD card, a card reader is the best way to do it. (You can also put files ON the card that way.) There are programs available to turn the handheld into a card reader--PFB (freeware), and Softick's Card Export II (commercial); Card Export II has just a handheld app that you run before connecting the sync cable, and PFB has both handheld and PC-side apps (launch the app on the handheld, then run the PC app).

Pilot Install is the application I often use - it can go to the device or the card - for the card selection you can enter the path where you want it to go to. It is available as freeware from http://www.freewarepalm.com/utiliti...otinstall.shtml.
