Any programs that read MP3's well enough to make an midi out of them that anyone knows of?

And is there anything I can do to unlock the phone to play something else than midi's as ringtones?

Just looking for some help.

If you want to send a ringtone to the Katana you'll first need to convert it to a Qualcomm Pure Voice (.qcp) format.

Qualcomm offers a utility to generate this format from an audio input:

I sent mp3 files via audio from one computer's audio out to my computer's audio in port. It worked fine.

Unfortunately there's no way that I know of to send the .qcp ringtone to the Katana though. My efforts to send them via BT failed. You might try to send them via a link in a text message - haven't tried that yet.
