I started the ROM update on my DASH (it has an audio problem). The wizard stopped the operation and said  ERROR [244] : INVALID MODEL ID. Don't waste your time if you have a DASH. I am thinking of buying the Excaliber even though Tmo sent me an unlock code.

the dash probably won't work because it's not cid unlocked

The only to flash this to a t-mobile dash is if you get it cid unlock and i think imei-check offers to cid unlock the phone + sim unlock for 38.00USD

you also have to downgrade the bootloader before you flash the new ROM. The bootloader downgrade file is where the new ROM is @ XDA-DEV..

Reviving this thread.

I have the S621 with WM6 on it. I want to revert back to WM5 because WM5 uses less memory. Would I have to downgrade the Bootloader? I tried downgrading but it gave me an error. My phone is SIM and CID unlocked.
