SE P990i GPRS settings - HOW ?

Guys,

Who knows how can I set these settings in P990i?

Access Point Settings
Access Point Name: T-Zone GPRS
APN: wap.voicestream.com
Authentication Type: PAP
User Name: "leave blank"
Password: "leave blank"
DNS: "leave blank"
Linger Time: 180

WAP Settings
Profile Name: T-Zone GPRS
Access Point:T-Zone GPRS
Use Proxy: Off
Home: http://wap.myvoicestream.com

The WAP settings immediately above need to be selected as ACTIVE.

SE's site has a configurator that should suit you nicely.

They have it for T-Zone but no for GPRS I think... I did it from SE and T-MO sites and T-Zone works but I need to those setting to be set to try IM+ be working.

I cant understand how to set setting for that Wap - second part.

T-Zone uses proxy server, proxy address and port, but I need GRPS not Wap.

GPRS has nothing to do with either WAP or regular Internet. GPRS is the SPEED you connect through T-Moblile in your case. If you have GPRS on your account and your SIM then you should see that Triangle above your Bars, which shows you have GPRS available.

Yes... I know GPRS is the speed. But I dont know what IM+ doesnt wotk with T-Mo, it should be working....

Does your IM+ work with T-Mo? If yes, what settings do u have in your phone?

Control Panel -> Connections -> Internet Accounts
Tap on Internet Accounts at the top, New Account -> Data

Account Name: T-Zone GPRS
Address: wap.voicestream.com
Leave username and password required unticked (you may want to tick it but leave Username and Password blank)
Hit save.
You will then be asked to add it to a group, select No.

Tap on Internet Accounts at the top, New Account -> Group Account
Name Group: T-Zones
Next
Click on Add new account
Tick T-Zones GPRS and press Done.
Hit Save

Tap on Internet Accounts at the top, Preferred Group.
Prefered group: T-Zones
Hit save

Hopefully all should work. Bits in italics can be named to whatever you want.
Note, I live in the UK so have no way to test if this works.

After having no luck using the SE web site configurator, and no luck with manual configuration - I discovered:

Tools / Control Panel / Connections / Internet Wizard

It worked perfectly... and has been ever since!

I tried Internet Wizard It says " No settings available. Please contact your operator"

BTW, Mini Opera stoped working after I applied those settings. Opera connects to T-Zone GPRS automaticly. I did not find a way to run Opera with T-Zones, just removed T-Zone GPRS and it works again.
