my cingular SLVR L7 microphone stopped work so cingular sent me a new phone. I swapped the SIM and the SD card but my phonebook on the new phone is empty. Is there a way to transfer the phonebook via USB? I can't use IR because they didn't send new battery, sim or SD card with replacement phone.

Please help, BTW... I know nothing about modding phones.

1. put the sim card back in your old phone.

2. manually edit each contact and when asked "store to: " select "sim"

3. transfer sim to new phone and all contacts will appear

Or just use the copy all function.

Phonebook menu> copy all to sim

Once I figured out how to add my own ringtones to the phone but I have long since forgotten how to do that. Is there an easy way to do it? I have the mp3's on my computer and I have cut them down already.
