Possible a707 bluetooth solution

Not sure if anyone else has had problems connecting their a707 to their car as I have; but if you have had issues, you might want to try this that was suggested by the manual for my car:
you go to "menu, settings, connectivity, bluetooth"
then select "my devices" and then "search for new devices"
after the a707 finds your car and you connect to it, then click on "options" and "rename". Change the name to anything other than what was originally found by the a707 and then save that name.
select the device to disconnect from it, and then select the device again to connect to the newly named device.
Before I changed the name of the device, the a707 would not send the calls through the car's speaker despite being in "handsfree" mode, nor could I dial from the keypad in the car; both of which i could do with my V3i. After the change, I can do both and the a707 is now sending the calls through the car's speaker as the "handsfree" profile intended.
Perhaps this is only an issue for my car, but I thought I would post this in case others have had issues. The key message is that the bluetooth started working properly after I changed the name of the car in the device list.
I have no idea why this would make a difference, but it does.
