the soft keys ...font..are in CAPS

ever since I flashed my e816 to Bell...the font has always been in CAPS..
does someone mind explaining why?
other than that...I can't find the java loader unless it's inside get it now..
by the way ... I went on the internet on my phone with the Google Websessions...will this actually charge me?
