Just wondering if their is going to be any new phones around christmas time.

Not like smartphone/blackberry/treos/windows devices, but phones.

Loving my v3i, but I'm sure I will be bored soon, and just wondering if there are any phones coming out for the holidays, Like KRZR, new nokia's, new sony ericssons?

With the release of the SYNC, i don't know for sure, but I wouldn't expect any other phones out for the holidays

Love the look of the SYNC. Can anyone comment on its reception/volume? That's been the problem with my previous samsungs (d407, d807). Unacceptable.

curious as to what is "acceptable"? I'm not talking about just you, but for the masses

to me, its loud enough to hear on the street and in a crowded bar...the cu500 can easily be heard in just about any environment...the crowded bar may be asking alot but at the least, loud enough to hear while driving, over possible road noises

ok, but you didn't answer me. What exactly is loud enough? This is a subjective thing so you need some hard core measurement numbers in order to define loud enough to please everyone. How many dbm @ what distance? That sort of thing

i've read somewhere here that Cingular ISN'T getting the RIZR but getting the MAXX

Well, I can't provide hard facts, but just something I can hear. I just don't like having a cellphone where i have to push it so hard against my ear I get a headache.
