Opera intelligently gives options when directly linking to an image.. download in native size, screen fit, or a few other options. However, when one of these, it hands off to the 707 browser for it's "download" function - which once again does the same thing that if I had linked directly w/o using Opera at all. I can't find any setting for handling the images in the browser. There should be a setting that says "do not resample/optimize images when downloading/linking directly" or something of the kind. If there is, I can't find anything. I haven't broken out the manual, but I guess I should. This is an incredibly annoying situation. I hope it's my stupidity and not Samsung's/Cingular's. |
