P990 Noob Questions

Just got a P990 after a long debate and hearing a lot of pissing and moaning about it. So far I love it, but I have a few questions.

I'm coming from a blackberry. Do I need to change my plan (is it even necessary for me to have the blackberry plan at Tmobile anymore)?

Wifi: The phone is detecting my Wifi but it won't connect? Any ideas?

That's about it, everything else seems to be running smooth.....for now.

I believe you do need a Blackberry plan w T-mo.

Regarding the wifi woes, can you give some more details?

Thanks for the reply. When I try to connect using Wifi it won't connect at all. I'm using a linksys router at home and work and when I go to connections>WLAN it finds the router but says can't connect when I click the connect button. Any ideas????

Do the routers have MAC filters on them?
Set my P990i up with my BT Router, plus several BT Open Zone found in restaurants/hotels, the routers on Brighton seafront and several others in mates homes.

Thanks guys, got it working. Made a small change in the settings and now its working fine. Posting from it now. So far it appears to load pages extremely quick, much faster than my Nokia e61.
