Anyway, i've been thinking of going with the 707 or 500. Played with both @ a Cingular store and noticed that the sound quality of the 707 was one of the best i have experienced with a Cingular Ph (of course my opinion!). I did experience some of the volume fluctuation with the 500 that several have posted about....when the person on the other end starts speaking, they come off low then increase as they speak....strange but i did catch that during test calls. What has your experience been? The music & video stuff is secondary to me....Thanks for you opinion! |

regarding the a707...nice phone, but the cingular video was not nearly as crisp and clear like i said earlier, i was not too fond of the large screen when it wasn't put to full use for the video...having such a beautiful screen with 3g promotion should be intertwined, it wasn't and that was part of the reason for purchase...but again not a deal breaker i do not have any volume fluctuation on the cu500 and aside from the earpiece being one of the loudest i have ever used...i find the sound quality to be superb compared to motorola or most recently my treo which sounds awful... personally, i think the cu500 is a better buy...price isn't of course a concern because they are same cost after the rebate so naturally thats not something to consider i think the w810i is the best all around phone, ASIDE from volume difficulty...i think sony has and will always have the best camera interlaced with a cellphone...those images are awesome...i think sony's menu system is also the best available, its intuitive, responsive and easy to find your away around, its the apple of cell phones...i could easy live with edge, to me cingular video is just an excuse to spend more time with my phone... if i could mix the volume with the cu500 on the w810i...i wouldn't hesitate to fall in love with the w810i all over again... of the three contenders..i still think you can't go wrong with either one, but the best bang for the buck is cu500 and like i said, i have not experienced anything but top notch calling with it and no volume fluctation |

, then it got better than ever
. Then I sold it to buy my z710i, that has a fine earpiece. I have a HoFo member holding a w810i for me, but I am hesitant only because I am afraid of being disappointed again by the earpiece volume vs. what I have now, which works great. But then again, some people say they have no problems at all with the w810i's earpiece...but most have a hard time with it. Aside from the volume glitch...it's a great phone!|
