A707 - AIM Dies w/o warning or reboots phone

On my 707 (my second - first when back to the store as it was defective), AIM rarely stays alive for more than 4-5 minutes. Additionally, it often reboots the phone when scrolling through the contact list.
Anyone else experience anything like this?

Just as a bit of extra information - I've run a handful of test with the MSN IM option w/in the 707's IM program and it seems more reliable. Still doesn't keep itself alive very long, but I haven't had any reboots yet - while when using the AIM protocol it reboots half the time almost.
Anyone have success with AIM staying alive and not rebooting the phone?
