P990i cannot read SIM anymore!

Hello,
now I have the same issue as the guy with the p910 or 900. BUT, I have the P990i !

I reflashed... I Mater Reset... all works fine after that. HOWEVER, as soon as I r e s t a r t the phone, it won't read the SIM contacts anymore. All other functions with the SIM work.

So, since it does not read the SIM anymore, the phone won't recognize the contacts that are already in the phone NO more! Meaning, no caller ID with the name! And therby no picture ID neither!

Anybody knows what that could be?

Tried also different SIMs. Everytime its the same. If the phone is EVER restarted after a new flash or master reset, then it won't read ANY SIM contacts anymore.

Its unlocked phone by the way.

HELP please.

Okay, here is an update on the problem:

It is whenever I set up some voice prompts for callers, then it won't read the SIM anymore, after I restart the phone. Ever!

It requires a compete MasterReset and NOT setting up any voice prompt to being able to have the phone read the SIM after one or more restarts.

This is freacking weird! Anybody??? Might this be a Hardware malfunction because noone else seems to have a similar problem. FW is R7. NO VodaCrap either.

Okay, now I have a new phone direct from SE with R7 FW and it shows exactly the same issue!!! Built in 2006 Week 42 .

One thing of a difference I recognized: when opening / closing the flip, there was always this certain cnacking noise. Now this new phone is totally silent when moving the flip.

But this doesn't help me... Anybody anything on this problem???
