Try this link...

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gen...scussion/53283-

pearl-sold-exclusively-t-mobile-until-12-1-06-a.html

It wont save the whole link, so copy and paste the two parts in.

From what I read, TMO has the exclusive until 12/1.

Poor little T-mobile couldnt even afford a 6 month exclusive contract? Figures...

Thats good on our part. But I dont see this phone coming out til Mid-december/early december just in time for Christmas, but after the exclusivity contract.

Gentlemen (perhaps?) I sincerely hope you are soon able to enjoy your Pearl on Cingular (it IS a superb phone!) but your enjoyment will surely be tempered by the exorbitant ... if not downright larcenous price you'll pay on Cing for your Blackberry data plans.

P.S. - "Tag, you're it"

Posted by: Tjash2010

Our plans arent that much, here are the comparisons--

tmobile -

Blackberry Unlimted w/Enterprise Email - 39.99
Personal Blackberry Unlimited - 29.99

Cingular-

Blackberry Unlimited Corperate - 49.99
Blackberry Unlimited Personal - 34.99

So it is 5-10 dollars more for Cingular. But hey I would pay that extra to stay on Americas largest and most reliable network...

Posted by: warhay

on cing bb unlimited personal is only 29.99 with voice plan

Posted by: Tjash2010

Yes, I know. I was doing all the plans without voice. I relized that after i posted.

Well ... with a voice plan, TMO's BB plans are $29.95 for unlimited BES and $19.95 for the personal BIS plan. I think we're still talking significant gap here ...

Actually if you look at the JD power awards concerning cingular, Cingular hasn't won many. The most reliable and satisfied customers are currently on T-Mobile and Verizon. Also, BB plan on Tmobile with a voice plan is 19.99.

Also with Cingular it shows unlimited blackberry thethering to your computer cost 79.99. Its free with the BIS and BES plan on T-Mobile. So thats a big difference.

T-Mo had the worst coverage I have even experienced. I looked at the coverage map and it say good to excellent is the areas I live and work and yet I got one dropped call after another with a T-Mo Blackberry. I would walk out of my office and get notification of 4-5 voice mails along with several emails. Realized that I had to go outside to make or receive a call.

Tell JD Power to come down to Jacksonville and ask us!

Those T-Mo people think they are special! What good is the latest phone without reception!

I totally agree with you! You couldnt of said it better on both subjects. I had the most horrible expiriences with T-mobile, I was happy to pay the EFT and get out of their horrible service. Verizon was just as bad. Finally I found Cingular. It was perfect. Excellent reception and great customer service, what more could you ask for?

Well ... to be fair, reception does differ radically in different states/regions/countries etc. Every carrier has places they're great and places they suck - but "great customer service"? ... with Cingular???

That's got to be a first!

Same with T-mobile's service compared to Cingy's. I would do the same if I had no customer's and crappy coverage.

Also to customer service being better with T-mobile is BS. Cingular in nearing 60million and will be the first wireless provider to do so. With T-mobile, I had a supervisor/manager, scream, curse, and then disconnect, but yet I was not surveyed.
