Hey all,
My girlfriend, who's still an AT&T Blue customer, had a question regarding upgrading phones. She currently has a SE T616 phone that needs replacement. She still wants to keep her current plan. So, she has looked on eBay, etc for some Nokia replacements. She really likes the Nokia 7360. Will that phone, or similar phones that are tri-band (900/1800/1900) work well on the Cingular network here in the US? Thanks in advance for your help!

Like, what is she holding out for?

I think she just wants to know if a triband phone without 850mhz will work well in the US? What does she lose (if anything) by not having that frequency? Thanks!

it all depends on where you live. if you live in a major city you'll be ok with just 1900. if you live in or travel to an area with no 1900 band they all she'll have is a nice paperweight.

For max performance on ATT/Cingular you will need both 850/1900. On T-Mobile all you need is 1900.
