Free software sites.....

Ok I just received my 9300 today and I am a little upset (not terribly) Is there no free sites for the symbian software!?!? It seems any software I am interested in the there is a charge for it (I have searched). I am not a cheap jerk however I am coming from a windows era lol. Well life is life however is there any sites in which there are good free software availble. By all means this is not an insult to the software creators. I do believe in paying for what I need however I just cant see spending 5 and ten dollars on every application. As always thanks in advance....
