motorola a1200 problem :S

Hey , i have a motorola a1200 its been a long time. I have a 512mb card in it that came with the phone. But when it came with the phone, it had folders in it like mobile and other stuff..i just formated my card becuz some memorys wher missing and now all my fodlers are gone. the folders that came with the phone. Are they importent ? and how could i get them back ?? thanks in advance.

Not important and no you cant get them back, you should have backed them up. They would have contained a few pre-loaded songs and videos thats about it, no worries mate.

How do you format the card??
I have a system volume folder on my card, is this normal.

yes, you have that folder because of yano's MPKG installer app. Leave it alone. You will need it to install certain applications.

I put the .system hidden folder in my phone, and get the mpkg icon in my menu listing... but when I click on it, nothing happens.
Also, I can't get the phone to open a pkg file.
Any advice? I downloaded it twice before motorolafans crashed again... I don't think its my download both times.
I'm on 53p.

the icon MPKG does nothing physically, when you put a pkg file on the phone click and hold on the file then open with, then open it with MPKG and click the box that says "Always use the program to open this filetype"
