sanyo 8300...not loading up to standby..

its a blue sanyo 8300. Just replaced the LCD and didnt touch the board at all.
When I turn it on, it turns on and makes the starting sound. And then it displays this weird message that goes something like this:::k po p aHro1/2#zc ) THere are more but i cant type with the keyboard. When I close the lid, it says operating Looking for service. When I pressed the buttons, it makes a beep and everything.
Anyone know what could be wrong??
