V3 Keypad light not working

The keypad light does not work on my mobile even when it is dark, I've been told that it can be turned on and off somewhere in the settings but can't find this anywhere, can anyone tell me where in the settings I find this option. Thanks in advance.

I don't know the exact setting off hand, but restoring the factory settings will turn it back on. Here are the steps:

Press [OK]
Arrow up or down to “Settings”
Press [Select]
Arrow up or down to “Initial Setup”
Press [Select]
Arrow up or down to “Master Reset”
Press [Select]
Enter Security Code (Default: 000000)
Press [OK]
Phone will display “Reset All Phone Settings?”
Press [YES]

NOTE: Do Master Reset and NOT Master Clear. If you chose master reset, you will not lose any pictures, phonebook entires, ringtones, etc.
