Blackjack Data Plan - am I ok?

Hey guys...quick question

I currently have a 2125 with the Smartphone Connect unlimited. If I went ahead and got the blackjack, would I have to change anything or is it fine under that plan? Would UMTS work?

Short answer. Any all data plans work on all phones/pdas. Blackberry is the exception. The smartphone plan will work on the blackjack if you can keep a Cingular employee from changing it on you because you're SUPPOSED to get the $40 PDA plan for blackjack.

UMTS works with grandfathered unlim MEdia Works, even, and even with a 32k SIM (and not a new 3G 64k SIM).

Thanks... I think the solution to this will be to just order the phone online. Hopefully then it will just go through the system with no changes...

Data plan wise it will work through wap.cingular (you can on all data plans currently) although, as you're aware, you're not supposed to do it. Just as long as blackjack allows tethering which I assume it does. If not there's always PDANet which I THINK works on WM5.0 smartphone edition.
