Ok, I was just at the Cingular store and even spoke with the CS at Cingular.com.

According to the rep at the Cingular store. I can do the following.

OPTION 1
1. Get a phone plan.
2. Get the unlimited internet (39.99 due to the phone plan)
3. Get a Txt Message plan

or

OPTION 2
1. Get a phone plan
2. Get a PDA Bundle package which includes (49.99):
-Unlimited Internet
-1000 txt messages

Obviously OPTION 2 is the better option.

QUESTION: Any truth in all this?

The CS rep from Cingular.com never heard of a PDA bundle package plan.

QUESTION: Who the heck am I to believe?

QUESTION: What have you all have done, in terms of, plans?

Lastly, what's the best way of doing this?

I have the Option 2 listed above.

Go and ask your CS if they have "PDA MAX" available. That's what I got.

BTW, they really should have it since I got that plan not even 2 weeks ago.

Hope this helped.

Can you elaborate on PDA MAX? What is that exactly?

PDA MAX is the plan that includes the follwing:

1. Unlimited Data Usage on PDA/Phone devices
2. 1000 SMS/TXT messages.

Apparently, it's not on their web-site.

I went to sign up for a 8125 (in hopes of switching to a 8525 later on) and the rep told me that there is another data plan for PDAs which is the PDA MAX. He explained to me that it includes extra 1000 messaging capacity on top of the unlimited data usage. It sounded good so I went ahead. It was that simple.

I tried to do a search on Cingular's web-site, but did not get anything. I'm just wondering why!?

Yes, The stores seems to know about that. It's the same thing as I was talking about.

How much did you pay for it?

I actually have a premiere website that charged me..

$32 for the data
$9 for 1000 txt
Total: $41

As opposed to I think PDA MAX is $49.

I have the same Option 2, although it wasn't called PDA Max. I got the standard PDA Connect Unlimited, and I had asked about the 1000 text message option, since I saw it available via Premiere. It took store reps like 30 minutes to find it, but they did in the Miscellaneous section of their plan/order screen. So, I have both for the same price as the PDA Max plan that was mentioned.
