Help with Blackjack and Bluetooth Pairing

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I posted earlier in a post but nobody would answer, so I'll try a new thread...

I'm somewhat new to using bluetooth I had it on my old Sony Ericsson and would trade pics with my friend.

I have issues pairing the Blackjack with my WEP 200 Headset and my PC, it'll connect to my pc but won't allow me to transfer files. Only something called Serial connection. It won't see my headset when its on, do I need to turn off Visible? Or do I need to do something with the COM ports?

Also can anybody tell me why my media net button doesn't work but my internet does? I got the Media Max 200 plan. First time with internet browser on a phone too.

Check out your network connection settings for the MEdiaNET. It will need to be using the 'MEdiaNET' profile, not MyISP...becaues you need the wireless.cingular.com proxy to access //device.home or the Blackjack's equivalent home deck.

I don't have anything in the connections on GPRS other than MediaNet, do I change anything inside it? WAP, Secure WAP, Internet? I have it set on internet since I want to surf the net. Is MediaNet something else?

I don't get it either actually. I've paired my bluetooth with my XP laptop and even been able to tether it. But when I try to connect for file transfer, it claims it's not a service the phone offers. When I have the Windows bluetooth search for services the phones offers, all it sees is "Network Access Point", "Serial Port", and "Voice Gateway".

So how are people transfering files via bluetooth? Do I need to enable something on the phone? Is it via the COM/Serial port?
