Blackjack calender and e-mail questions

I just got the Blackjack and I love it with two exceptions.

The calender does not present like the Palm calender. It just shows the appt and the time. I am used to seeing the spaces between appts on the treo 650. I can probably get used to it, but does anyopne know of a 3rd party sofware that may be available?

Also, I currently use Chatter on my 650. My company is still using Exchange 2000, so I don't get push e-mail. They will be upgrading in the first quarter of 2007, but I need something until then. My understanding of Xpress mail is that you have to have the client running on you desktop at all times. Is that true? If so, that is also not workable. I'm open to any ideas. TIA

Look at Pocket Informant or SBAH Papyrus on Handango.com.

Thanks for the help. I'm on track now.

Your suggestions led to sources for quite a few apps. I only knew of palm apps B4.
Thanks again

Do you have IMAP access enabled on your Exchange 2000 server? If so you should still be able to use the messaging client to access your company e-mail until the 2007 upgrade when you can start using Direct Push.
