I have searched back thru Jan manually as the "search" feature is not working this am....I cannot find any resolution to the syncing problem I am having with the Outlook calendar?? I found a couple posts on the issue however no fix. I have Windows 2000 at work...unfortunately 98 SE here at home so any suggestions I will not be able to try until Mon. Some of the appointments sync & some don't. It doesn't seem to be consistent in which appointments do sync. Although I have confirmed that if there is any notes in the body of the event on Outlook it definitely does not sync nor can I IR these to the P800.

This is a big issue for me...I have been using the iPaq since the first release. My current 5455 has superior PIM functions. I do remember with the first release of the 3650 the PIM's were buggy, but there was 3rd party replacements that served the purpose. In fact I still use a 3rd party application for PIM functionality.

It is the 1st release of the P800 so I do kind of expect some issues. Hopefully I can get at least some kind of resolution in the interim. Thoughts--feedback?

I had a similar problem as well. My solution was to force full sync on calendar for the 1st time sync. it took some long time but it was completed ok and any update after 1st sync is very fast.

If you are using outlook in off line mode, that seems to cause more problem than anything else. Do sync when you have your outlook in "online" mode.

Two issues to also consider:

1) Recurring all day events don't sync from PC to p800; and

2) Check on PC -> Calendar Settings -> Date Range that you check Synchornize all Schedule appointments.

Also update to version 1.1.1 of the PC sync software.

I have given up on OL long ago and I'm using Lotus Organizer (it came with my R380s). It is much more compact and does everything just as well, or better, than OL.

It syncs perfectly with the P800. Couldn't be happier.

I got the calendar to sync....

1) uploaded PC suite 1.1.1--Phone would not connect. I was perplexed....after several uninstall, install and a million restarts (it seemed anyway) I figured out that I had to switch my cable connection on the phone from "Modem" to PC connect--

Oh well!!!

2) everything seemed to sync ok...however I had appointments on the current day (day of sync) that dated back to 2002.....all on one day?!. I need to tweek more...hopefully my issue will be resolved. It still seems a little "buggy".

Overall still not as nice as my iPaq....but hopefully there will be other calander applications available in the near future!!
