Michigan vs. Ohio State

Nothing like sitting at a bar with a tall, frothy pint of Guiness in one hand, my Qtek 9000 in the other (checking HoFo during breaks, of course), a basket of wings and Michigan vs. Ohio State on the big screen.

Who's watching?

Go Blue!

My, that IS a poetic moment. I think you owe us a haiku. Something like…

Beer froth on my pants
Who’s smoking a cheap cigar?
Oh! Michigan sucks!

Well, I can't exactly argue with you yet, Evaluator. Despite coming out strong in the first quarter, Michigan is now down 21-7 at the half.

Thankfully, my Qtek 9000 is much more reliable...

I didn't get to see the game.......but the score makes it look like it was really, really exciting! I mean, #1 vs #2 ..... 42 to 39 ..... you couldn't ask for better. Saying that, I heard it wasn't as close as the score?? But, when you score 39, it had to be close.......I mean, they only lost by 3.

Anyway, I don't see how their can't be a rematch for the title game. I don't like that idea but Michigan seems to still be the #2 team and likely should play in the title game. The problem with that is if they beat Ohio State, then they will have beaten eachother once and one of them is champ and one isn't. That hardly seems right? ..........we really need a playoff

Agreed on all counts, Mike. Ohio State (and QB Troy Smith, in particular) dominated the game much more than the score would tell you. It was exciting toward the end, but I would have loved to see Michigan get the onside kick and score a field goal in the remaining seconds to force OT.

And like you (and most of the nation except Los Angeles and Gainesville, Fla.), I want to see a rematch in the Fiesta Bowl! These are clearly the two best teams in the nation -- neither Florida nor USC could have pulled off what Michigan and Ohio State did on Saturday. I'm actually a Georgia boy at heart (University of Georgia grad), so if Ohio State and Michigan face off again to leave Florida out in the cold, I'll be a very happy man.
