Hello everyone,

ive been a a lurker on his forum for a while now and i have done a lot of reading.

I recnetly just purchased my first MS Mobile phone, the 8525.

I have the 19.99 Unlimited Media Net plan.

For the life of me i can;t get my phone to connect using IE.

I have done all tried all these solutions but no luck a all...

The error that I am getting is:

Cannot Connect
Cannot connect for an unknown reason. To check you connection settings and chance them needed, tap settings. If the problem continues reset your mobile device according to your manufacturer's documentation and try again.

Someone please help, Im geting very frustrated with this, I'd call cingular for support but im afraid it would raise a red flag b/c i am on the Media Net and not their dataplan for 39.99

To access MediaNet Home page you need to enable wireless.cingular.com proxy and use server assigned DNS Servers. Don't use the Open DNS.

figured it out... Cingular disabled my internet access... they took off the Unlimited media net bundle that i was paying for...
