Blackjack Bluetooth Annoyance (multiple handsfree)

I have my Blackjack paired with 3 different BT handsfree devices - a Motorola headset, Jabra headset and the installed kit in my car. Of course, I'm not trying to use them simltaneously!! With other WM5 devices all handsfree could be paired and all could be set to work as handsfree. All I needed to do was turn one on and it was good to go. With the Blackjack, I've realized that once any device is set as handsfree, all others are disabled (i.e., the handsfree box in the BT config screens gets unchecked). The only way to swtich to a different handsfree device (even if the first one is off and I've reset the phone) is to go into the BT config screens and manually check off 'handsfree" for the new desired device.

This seems wrong, particularly since other Wm5 devices seem to handle the switch a lot smoother. Has anyone encountered this? Any way to fix it with registry tweaks? Possibly a third-party app to make the switch to a different device take less keystrokes??

THANKS!

AMG

Same problem! It's annoying.

I actualy resolved this problem with the program "Macro Recorder" (http://inputshow.googlepages.com/macrorecorder.htm) - Basically, I recorded macros that completely automate the process of switching from one BT device to another - the macros themselves can be added as shortcuts in the start menu, which means they can then be assigned speed dial locations.

Yes, that seems to be the only reasonable solution to save keystrokes:

Start - Settings - Connections - Bluetooth - Headset Setting - Menu - Connect handsfree

That's insane!!
I love my Blackjack but that Bluetooth setup is simply horrible and represents serveral steps backwards in usability! The only reason I could see for using the "Headset Setting" submenu command is for a conflict situation for example when you start your BT enabled car while you are still paired with your BT earpiece.
If that happens, the Headset Setting menu should open automatically for you to choose which Headset to set as active.
And then there is the the phonebook upload issue to the car and . . .
