Can 703shf flash to read and write Chinese?

I had just bought a lovely 703shf in Hong Kong few days ago with an amazing price which I think is very worth to pay for instead of getting a NOKIA or SE or Moto.

However, everytime when I press the menu, it will pop up the "re-provision" question. How I could solve this problem?

More, is anyone know if by any chances to flash the phone so that it could read and write chinese? I had asked some unlocker in Hong Kong, some of them told me can, some of them told me cannot.

Even I asked an unlocker in my country (malaysia) he told me can but another one told me cannot.

Anyone can advise is very much appreciated.

Sorry buddy. THe 703SHF was only released in Japan. As a result, there is only Japanese firmware for this phone.

It might be possible to have your phone flashed with 703SH firmware that has the LCD settings adjusted for the SHF. I think this has been done before, but it is EXTREMELY uncommon.

Usually if one unlocker says yes, but another says no then you have 1 of 2 situations:

1. unlocker who says yes is lying or just wants your $$$
or 2. unlocker who says no has no idea what he's talking about, or doesnt know for sure.

gotta watch these things.

extremely uncommon means that most flashers/unlockers cant do it because it is not using a firmware that is officially supported by the tools that do the flashing/unlocking. it is firmware that has been privately modified.

so outside of HK, you're not going to find many people who can do this.

even in HK, not a single seller who sold the 703SHf mentioned it. It's uncommon indeed. I spoke to various sellers and they all said that the 703SHf sold for less than the 703SH because of the ability to have Chinese on it. This wasn't possible (for the most part) on the 703SHf and the FeliCa chip didn't make much difference in Hong Kong so that's why the 703SHf were cheaper than the 703SH/SX313.

The fact that the 703SHf was cheaper, looked better, and was rarer than the 703SH made me buy it. Also, I didn't like the 703SH colours that much.

I have an unlocker in Malaysia here mentioned that he is able to do it for 2006 batch 703shf. And he charge me for USD70.

Still thinking if I should go for it.

I like 703shf bcoz of it design and super clear LCD.

Think I've heard something about flashing 703sh fw to 703shf but it wasn't stable or something.
