anything I should know? i've used em' all (sidekicks, treos, 8125s, SE, and now this).. will i be happy with it? or should I go with the sidekick III instead like my wife?

Can i have my @yahoo.com emails sent to the pearl and access them or no? Any downloads or tips that I need to know?

Also, I use a powerbook computer.. am i going to be completely SOL as far as putting applications on the blackberry with the mac?

Congrats ... you will love it! I thought my W810 was the cats pajamas ... not any more.

Yes - Yahoo email, even the free Yahoo Pop3 email works fine on the Pearl.

The MP3 Player is much better than I thought it would be. With a 2GB microsSD, who needs an Ipod? Love the Album Art visualization when you play a song!!!

As to the MAC, that could be a tad more complex, but many apps can be downloaded directly online, so no sweat-

Also, can I multitask withthe pearl? basically.. can I browse a webpage while going back and forth from AIM to the Internet Browser? Or will the internet browser re-set everytime I go over to AIM to respond to a message like my treo did?

There are a lot of frequently asked questions both on this board and blackberryforums.com -- I would definitely take a look at both before you make up your mind.

Also, be aware that the BB devices REQUIRE a BB specific data plan in order to use them. You CANNOT simply add-on the Internet and make use of email that way.
