V3 Button Problems

I have a black V3 and the buttons are stuffed up. They work sometimes, but othertimes they act as though they are pressing another button. This is, if I'm pressing the delete button when sending an sms, it sometimes turns up the volume.

This happens with a lot of different keys and is very annoying when I try to send an sms or even try to dial a number to call. How can I fix this? Is it software? Or a keypad problem? And can it be dealt with easily?

I've seen both mechanical and software failures when this issue arises, so it's hard to say for sure.
