(8525) Help me decide which Krusell Case to get?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Keep in mind the following:
1. Difference between Vertical and Horizontal.
2. Needs to be business presentable,as well as, casual wear.

Please give input the pro's and con's that I may be missing from what I think.

I'm leaning towards the horizontal but also leaning towards the vertical. I need your inputs to outweigh my thinking.

HORIZONTAL

VERTICAL

NOTE: The vertical version actually is for a TYTN. There is another version of the vertical for the 8125. However, it doesn't seem like it is a better build quality than this one for the TYTN. The design on it is somewhat bland. For those of you who are interested in seeing the 8125 vertical version (CLICK HERE)

On the other hand, the horizontal version, is the same model for the TYTN and the 8125.

Lastly, vertical or horizontal, there is a multi-adapter that can make a horizontal vertical due to a multi point system on the clip. Whether it's safe or looks good that way is a different story.

Please help me decide. I want to place the order today.

lol by the time you actually open the case, the personw ill have been redirected to your vmail

Lol, that's why the horizontal is something I'm used to. Unless I have my bluetooth in my ear the entire time..lol

Vote vote vote!

Gezz LOL that alot for a case why not keep it simple?? If you get a call seems like you have to unlatch, swivel, detach, and then answer LOL you think you can make it in time

Posted by: nutnbolt

Technically you only have to open one thing. Unlatch and open the main thing to answer. Regardless good point.

Can I get a link to the picture for the Krusell Horizontic (HORIZONTAL POSITION made for both Tytn and 8125)?

Finally took advice and purchased the horizontal case. I thought and thought and thought about it and I would look really funny when I'm in a meeting and have to bust out the 8525 and things are sticking out flailing around (like the cover) to just use it.

Furthermore, if I drop the case (with the phone in it), the corners of the 8525 would get damage considering my luck it would land on the corners. Not much a protection if you think about it.

Thank you everyone who helped me. I hope everyone learned something from this post.

I'm confused, did you read the entire post?

I had a Horizontic for my 8125 and really liked it!! So that gets my vote...

Horizontal has always been my pick. If you think about it even further, I have seen people with the vertical strapped to their belt on the side and it reminds me of auditors that has those big auditing machines strapped to their side. The horizontal one makes it seem like it's a smaller device strapped to your side.

Wow I really like that Horizontal. Looks perfect and has the nice storage options. I like the way Horozontals look over verticals.

Now I wish I had waited before I made my purchase.

You can always buy multiple cases. I'm debating whether I should keep the cingular basic case I prematurely ordered from Cingular. Nah 30 bucks, I'm returning it!

What about the Horizontic Plus? Better protection, though you can't use the 8525 in the case. Also looks better and comes with optional belt loops for those that like that sorta thing. Ordered mine and should be in today. I'll let you know what I think.

Petrkovarik:

Interesting, I didn't see this one. Then again, I don't like all that leather wrapping around all over the place. The thing I like about the plain horizontic is the ability for me to put a credit card if I need to. The horizontic plus doesn't seem like is can do that. Hope your 8525 fits into that.

Are there any non-pouch cases, other than the silicone, that don't require having the plastic over the keyboard?
